"Making Memorable Music"

The DMIMF

The D Major International Music Festival
Dr. Vivian Conejero, Artistic Director & Principal Conductor

Dr. Sandra I Noriega, Associate Conductor

November 21-26, 2011 (Kiev, Ukraine)

The D Major International Music Festival’s inaugural orchestral concerts and recitals will take place in Kiev, Ukraine, during the week of November 21-26, 2011.  Yet, our aim is to hold future DMIMF events at other cities and countries.  Depending on monetary resources and other factors, this festival will occur once or twice per year, ideally, each March and each November.

The D Major International Music Festival welcomes Classical musicians with disabilities, to perform along with non-disabled musicians.  However, the DMIMF is NOT a “disability festival.”  Similarly, the DMIMF is open to all qualified and interested participants, regardless of  age, gender, gender preference, race, nationality, or religion.

A number of high-caliber, professional-level conductors, composers, instrumentalists, and singers with/without disabilities have been invited to be a part of this festival and to have their appearances recorded on both audio and video.
